I’ve been meaning to collaborate with good friend James O’Reilly for a while now and we’ve finally got something out for the upcoming Sewer Wars game.

Here’s the first in a series of web-teasers

The game itself looks great and hopefully the trailers we push out will give it a good head-start come release day.

Working with James’ awesome artwork, I extracted the required elements individually from Flash and started layering in After Effects. It’s fun to work like this and to be able to focus time into compositing scenes instead of having to worry about creating artwork, making it move and setting the pace.

Work on the second video is already underway and is looking excitably sexy already…

Our BMX Documentary Quest For The Backflip is taking shape nicely and should soon be winging its way over to Extreme TV for a European broadcast.

As part of Paul’s initial backflip training we took him down to the awesome Adrenaline Alley. We chucked him into the foam-pit a bunch of times before putting him in front of their resi-ramp, here’s a little teaser of the action from that day. See the results in the finished show!

A Week With Mr Dogg – Watch in HD

In July, Bob Slayer and I embarked on a week’s driving trip as part of Snoop Dogg’s Doggumentary Tour.

Hitting 5 countries in 6 days, we had a van full of official merch to drive between dates. Having only used my 7D for commercial work since buying it, I thought it was time to get a personal edit out, if only for the sake of making use of the masses of footage I accumulated over this week.

Shot at 24fps, using my Sigma 17-70mm 2.8 mostly, with the 50mm 1.8 thrown in every now and then.

Sorry, I tend to ramble when I’m nervous and I had heard of many West African scammers trying to buy goods through Gumtree recently, so do excuse my previous writings.

I had the opportunity to visit Western Africa last year but upon arrival at Heathrow airport I was caught short whilst running for the toilet. I had to use my only beach towel to clean, as best I could, my legs and lower torso. How the stuff managed to travel up my body I still don’t know, it was the fluffiness of the waste I imagine. As well as my ramblings, when nervous I tend to get a very fizzy stomach too, you can imagine the mess when I eventually release the stopper, the amount of speed-bumps around Heathrow don’t help at all. So my trip came to an end there unfortunately! I do still hope to visit, tell me, is there a decent beach-inflatables shop in each coastal resort or am I best heading to a more touristy area? I have a penchant for novelty inflatables you see, nothing could beat the iPhone lilo I bought in Corfu last year! There was a bloke floating around on an oversized high-heel but no-one could take him seriously.

Sorry for the delay, I have a ratio to improve on Call of Duty: Black Ops and keeping up this banter could distract me from some important flag captures.

Do you find Black Ops crashes a lot mid-game? I was rewarded with my first Napalm Strike this afternoon and moments from it dropping the game just froze!! There must have been a wealth of kills missed out on there. Send me your PSN ID and we’ll play some Sharpshooter later, or maybe you prefer Sticks & Stones? I’d never used the axe, or ratchet, before but I must admit ‘humiliating’ someone is an absolute joy.

As post offices are now closed over here, the earliest I can have this dispatched is tomorrow morning. I can’t believe it, I just got the Killcam on Array, Black Ops, using an RPG fired blindly through a window and I didn’t get an award for it! What’s your best killstreak? I’ve been struggling to beat my PB (personal best) which I have as 25 on MW2 (Modern Warfare 2). I much prefer the Famas with RDS (red dot sight) but I can also happily play using the Aug with IRS (Infra-red sight). CoD (Call of Duty) just crashed again so I thought I should get this urgent email out of the way whilst my PS3 (Playstation3) restarts.

I must say, your determination to buy this package is admirable. TBH (to be honest) I have only had one other person interested, and they didn’t seem too legitimate. They were also in West Africa but their lack of interest in the product itself and the bundled accessories led me to believe they were scammers.

Thanks for your email, Cathy.

Other than me spitting in it the other day, the camera has had no untoward treatment. It has been maintained well, and has been used for less than 20,000 hrs, shooting pornography but only ever in the UK. So there, naturally, has been a few misguided splashes and squirts directed its way but nothing that can’t be licked off.

I do hope you intend to read the HV40′s handbook in greater detail than you do my emails.

I have an urge for a mouth-burning Chicken Bake from Gregg’s. I tend to only buy one if there’s a tray full of them under the counter, that way you know they are freshly baked and perfectly heated. Would you prefer a Chicken Bake or a Steak Bake? Sure, Steak Bake sounds much better but I find the meat chunks a little too chewy. This is all in theory by the way, dearest.
